I hope you all had a fantastic Valentine's Day! I celebrated with some friends at my place, and since I was sick last week (and therefore had some extra time on my hands), I got a little crazy with the decorations.
Some of my inspiration came from Pinterest, and some from my own love of February 14th. On Valentine's Day, everything is pink, sweet and pretty... what's not to love?
How did you celebrate this year?
Award season always brings the teeniest, tiniest bag out of the closet and onto the red carpet: the minaudiere. Sure, you can only fit lip gloss and a pack of mints in one, but it's the ultimate statement-making accessory, especially when paired with a drop dead gorgeous gown.
The stars may turn to Judith Leiber for their shimmering hand candy, but at over $1000 a pop, the average girl has to take baby steps toward Leiber Fever. Above are minaudieres that will take her there -- and they start as low as $49 and don't surpass $275. Now, that's a mint-holder at a price I can justify.

And for those major frugalistas, check out my Valentine's Day gift suggestion (hint, hint, boys!) for a minaudiere that will redefine date night: Christiana Caged Sparkle Minaudiere ($39.95, SendTheTrend). Who knew such a small bag could pack such a big style punch?

3. Own a dog as cute as this (via Pinterest)

4. Eat something that looks as good as this every day (via Pinterest)

If you could, what would you do this week?
Via Pinterest
1. Counting a major dance session in your apartment as a workout.
2. Still getting nervous before an important phone call.
3. Having breakfast for dinner.
4. Wanting to play in all this snow that's fallen over NYC. : )
5. Making the first move, regardless of the outcome.
And cheers to you guys, for following my little blog! Thank you! xo
