Love her. Love her sense of humor even more. And the way she candidly describes her two-year marriage to wife Lara Embry? Way to keep it real, Sue Sylvester.

Read: Once Upon A Time In New York...

... A girl got so wrapped up in her life, love and job that she neglected her pretty, little blog. But she's back now.
Here are some things she's been up to while she was away:
1. She's been pinning her heart out.
2. She signed up for Foursquare & Instagram (Can you find her?).
3. She interviewed this guy, this gal, these chicks, this housewife and this dame.
4. She entered and then exited a relationship, and has since been trying out fun, new things like this.
5. She's been to LA, the beach, the park, the Botanical Gardens, up to the water's edge and back again.
It's nice to be home.

Gwen Stefani is a girl who sticks to her California cool, tartan-loving, rock’n’roll roots, and we love her for it. Though we were disappointed she didn’t make a personal appearance at her fall presentation (which was so overcrowded and held in a small corner of the room), her unique designs certainly made up for it.
The models that stood in front of a black-and-white photo collage looked like they were coming back from the library after getting down and dirty with your boyfriend in the memoir aisle.

If you were The Vampire Diaries’ Nina Dobrev, the show you were dying to see this Fashion Week was Monique Lhuillier’s Fall collection. The 23-year-old was sitting front row to see enough tight, black, sexy red and black leather to surely satisfy her vampire lover’s thirst.
From red leather sleeveless cocktail dresses to “lava” print chiffon blouses and smokey grey sequined gowns, Monique Lhuillier’s collection was enough to make any fashion lover’s blood boil with lust.

Shopping: Mitts Off My Minaudiere
Award season always brings the teeniest, tiniest bag out of the closet and onto the red carpet: the minaudiere. Sure, you can only fit lip gloss and a pack of mints in one, but it's the ultimate statement-making accessory, especially when paired with a drop dead gorgeous gown.
The stars may turn to Judith Leiber for their shimmering hand candy, but at over $1000 a pop, the average girl has to take baby steps toward Leiber Fever. Above are minaudieres that will take her there -- and they start as low as $49 and don't surpass $275. Now, that's a mint-holder at a price I can justify.
And for those major frugalistas, check out my Valentine's Day gift suggestion (hint, hint, boys!) for a minaudiere that will redefine date night: Christiana Caged Sparkle Minaudiere ($39.95, SendTheTrend). Who knew such a small bag could pack such a big style punch?
